He traveled from Rio Grande do Sul to Curitiba on his bicycle with the mission of touching people's souls with his violin. In front of a small audience of onlookers and amateur photographers, he played a beautiful melody, sometimes out of tune, but full of feelings. At the end of his improvised concert, he took out a card with a message and handed it to my hand (and to my heart).
“Every day our Father with his solar rays fills us with strength and joy. May your children be like this. In looking, talking, touching, overflowing.”
In return for this simple kindness full of meaning, I asked to take a portrait of him. “It’s better to smile, right?” he asked me. And I replied, “Yes, it is always better to smile (and overflow)”
Music and photography have a lot in common! They touch our soul, reveal emotions, and overflow with smiles.
