Captured during my visit to the Thean Hou Buddhist Temple in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, this photograph titled “Red Canopy of Fortune” depicts a sky adorned with hope and celebration.

Each red lantern, set against the clear blue sky, carries messages of prosperity and good luck, meticulously hung to invite joy and repel spirits.

As I walked around the site, the image of these red lanterns gently swaying in the breeze was mesmerizing. The goal was to capture the essence of renewal and community joy that these lanterns symbolize.
